People come to this blog seeking information on Albinism, the Miller kidnapping saga, the Duggar adultery scandal, Tom White's suicide, Donn Ketcham's philandering, Arthur and Sherry Blessitt's divorce, Michael Pearl's hypocrisy, Barack Obama's birth, or Pat and Jill Williams; I've written about each of these at least twice. If you agree with what I write here, pass it on. If not, leave a comment saying why. One comment at a time, and wait for approval.

20 years old: Obsolete; 18 years old: Contemporary
Philippines (MNN) -- Biblica celebrates a milestone in their ministry to Asia with the completion of two new Bible translations in the Philippines. Somporn Sirikolkarn, vice president for Biblica Asia Pacific, says these new translations will replace versions which are out-of-date: "The Cebuano and the Tagalog [translations] are over two decades old, so these are new, contemporary translations, which are accurate. And we have been working for the last 18 years."

But by your logic then, the previous group of translators had been working for at least 18 years -- probably longer considering how much computers and other translation technology has developed.
ReplyDelete20 years old probably equals 40 years old.
What does MY logic have to do with it? The entire post was a quote from the Biblica news release.
