Update on Megiddo Mosaic

Here are the other two inscriptions translated:
MNHMONEUSATE
PRIMILLHS KAI
KURIAKHS KAI
DWROQEASETI
DE KAI CRHSTHS"

Remember Primilles and Kuriake and Dorothea, moreover also Chreste.

"GAIANOS O KA[I]
PORFURIS CR
ADELFOS HMWN [...?]
TEIMHSAMENOS
EK TWN IDIWN[#]
EYHFOLOGHSEN.
broutis hrgas(ato)."

Gaianos, also known as Porfuris, our brother in Christ ...
(honouring/honoured?) had this mosaic made from his own money.
Broutis carriedout the work.
(A few letters, upper right edge, may be missing) ([#] is a heart or a leaf)

  1. Hi,

I guess this translation is from my website.
And I guess (shame on me) that I overlooked one detail: the khi-rho sign could be a Christ-sign (according to one source), but it could also be a centurio-sign,
    see my updated website:

    Best regards
